Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean round steak
    3 small onions
    1 to 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
    beef stock
    2 c. sour cream
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms or 1 large can
    soy sauce to taste
    salt and pepper to taste
    flour
Preparation
    Cut beef in thinnest possible slices.
    Pound flour, salt and pepper into meat.
    Cut into strips about 3 x 1/2-inch.
    Dice onions and fry slowly until soft and just turning yellow.
    Then add meat and saute until well seared.
    Add tomato paste and enough beef stock to just cover.
    Add soy sauce to taste.
    Simmer until tender. Transfer to top of double boiler and add sour cream and mushrooms. Serve with rice.
