Ingredients

2/3 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. corn flour or regular
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. coconut flakes
2 c. corn flakes
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Beat butter, sugars, egg and vanilla together.
Mix flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
Stir into sugar mixture (mix well).
Stir in coconut and corn flakes.
Drop by teaspoon on baking sheet 2 inches apart.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes until lightly browned.
Cool slightly.
Remove from pan to cooling rack.
Makes 4 dozen.
