Creole Style Green Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cans green beans
8 slices diced bacon
3/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 can stewed tomatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation

Cook bacon until crisp.
Remove bacon, saving 3 tablespoons drippings.
Cook onion and green pepper in this until tender. Blend in flour, sugar and seasonings.
Add tomatoes and cook until thickened.
Add beans.
Heat thoroughly.
Put in casserole and sprinkle with diced bacon.
Keep warm in oven.
