Scotch Tea Tarts - cooking recipe

1 c. butter, softened
2 c. sifted flour
6 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 Tbsp. melted butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
chopped pecans
Preparation

Mix butter, flour and cream cheese; chill for 30 minutes. Place a rounded teaspoonful of dough in each tart cup.
Press dough to bottom and sides with thumb.
Sprinkle each cup with chopped pecans.
Mix the brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, salt and vanilla together.
Spoon in the cups, over top of the pecans. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
