Cinnamon Twist Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast
    1/3 c. lukewarm water
    1 1/2 c. scalded milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. shortening
    2 tsp. salt
    5 to 6 c. flour
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. raisins
    1 1/2 c. rolled oats (Quick or Old Fashioned)
Preparation
    Soften yeast in lukewarm water.
    Pour milk over sugar, salt and shortening; cool to lukewarm.
    Beat in half of flour and beaten eggs.
    Stir in yeast, raisins and rolled oats.
    Add enough flour to make a stiff dough.
    Turn out on lightly floured board. Knead until satiny, about 10 minutes.
    Round dough into ball and place in greased bowl.
    Cover.
    Let rise until double or 1 hour. Divide dough into 2 parts.
    Cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
