Yeast Rolls W-R - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 c. warm water
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. shortening
    2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    7 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Beat egg; add to yeast and water 1 teaspoon sugar; set aside.
    Mix oil, water, sugar, milk and salt together; add to yeast mixture and mix.
    Add flour 2 cups at a time until bouncie.
    Put in lightly oiled pan; let rise until doubled in bulk or size.
    Knead lightly and make into rolls.
    Let rise 2 to 3 hours.
    Put in warm place.
    Do not set over pilot light as they will rise too fast.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Brush with butter and brown.
