Spoon Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 scant c. corn meal
    3 c. milk
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    3 level tsp. baking powder
    1 rounded Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Stir meal into 2 cups milk; let come to a boil, stirring constantly, making a mush.
    Add balance of milk, well beaten egg, salt, baking powder and butter, melted.
    Turn at once into a quart size, well-greased glass baking dish.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for about 32 minutes, or until done.
    Serves 6.
