Hot German Green Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bacon, diced
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 (6 oz.) can French style green beans
    1 small onion, sliced
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Fry bacon until crisp.
    Remove half of fat.
    Add onion, vinegar and sugar.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Drain beans, reserving 1/2 cup liquid.
    Add reserved liquid to beans and vinegar mixture. Heat through and serve hot.
    Yields 4 servings.
