Ingredients

1 c. pitted prunes
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs, well beaten
Preparation

Chop prunes.
Add to chopped nuts with brown sugar, flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix.
Fold into well beaten eggs.
Spread in greased 9-inch square pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool in pan for 5 to 10 minutes.
Cut into 25 pieces.
Roll in confectioners powdered sugar, if desired.
