Double Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 can drained pineapple slices
maraschino cherry halves
1 pkg. Duncan Hines lemon cake mix
whipped cream
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Melt butter in square pan.
Sprinkle brown sugar in pan.
Arrange pineapple and cherries over sugar mixture.
Mix cake as directed on label.
Pour batter in pan. Bake for 50 minutes.
Turn upside-down on cake plate.
