Brown Sugar Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. brown sugar
    3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    3/4 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Combine sugar and water.
    Boil to soft ball stage (236\u00b0); pour slowly, beating constantly, onto egg whites.
    Add flavoring. Continue beating until icing holds its shape when dropped from spoon.
