Southern Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    1 c. white cornmeal
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 beaten eggs
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Stir the cornmeal into the boiling water with the salt and sugar. Stir 1 minute. Remove from fire. Add butter. Beat well and add eggs. Beat well. Add milk, beating again. Pour into greased 8 or 9-inch baking pan (Pyrex). Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
