Buttery Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. butter
    2 c. raw/roasted peanuts
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine sugar, corn syrup and water in 3-quart saucepan.
    Cook and stir until sugar dissolves using high heat.
    When syrup boils, blend in butter.
    Stir frequently.
    After it reaches a syrup stage (approximately 230\u00b0), reduce heat to medium when temperature reaches soft crack stage.
    Add nuts.
    Stir until temperature reaches hard crack stage, approximately 305\u00b0.
    Remove from heat and quickly stir in baking soda.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Pour onto 2 cookie sheets with 4 sides.
    Spread candy evenly over cookie sheets, loosen from pan as soon as possible and turn candy over.
    Break into pieces when cooled.
