Aunt Jeanette'S Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. scalded milk
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 egg, beaten
    3 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Combine hot milk, salt, sugar and shortening.
    Let cool to room temperature.
    Dissolve yeast in warm water; add to cooled mixture.
    Add egg and flour.
    Mix and set aside to rise 1 time, approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Shape and let rise 1 hour. Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 18 to 20 minutes.
