Amish Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine, softened
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs, separated
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
    1 1/2 c. hot milk
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
    Cool Whip or 1/2 pt. heavy whipped cream
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar.
    Add egg yolks and beat well.
    Add flour, salt and lemon juice, rind and milk.
    Blend well.
    Beat egg whites until stiff; fold into lemon mixture.
    Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Cool and top with Cool Whip. Serves 8.
