Barbara'S Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    3/4 c. shortening
    5 c. self-rising flour
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    3 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Dissolve
    yeast
    in
    water.
    Cut shortening into flour. Combine buttermilk\tand
    soda
    and add to flour along with the sugar and yeast.
    Place in airtight container and keep refrigerated.
    Will
    keep
    for several days.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto lightly greased
    cookie
    sheet
    and
    bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
