Conga Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. margarine
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    2 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. broken pecans
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt margarine and cool.
    Add brown sugar and vanilla and beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add to sugar mixture, stirring well, then add chocolate chips and pecans, mixing well.
    Bake in a 13 x 9-inch greased and floured pan at 350\u00b0 for about 25 minutes (underbake).
    Cool and cut into squares.
