Calypso Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

18 Oreo cookies, crushed
1/3 c. melted oleo
1 1/2 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. oleo
1 qt. coffee ice cream, softened a bit
chopped nuts
Cool Whip
Preparation

Combine crushed Oreos and melted oleo.
Pat into a 10-inch pie plate or square pan.
Melt chocolate in 1 tablespoon oleo.
Add sugar and milk.
Cook until thick; cool.
Place coffee ice cream over crust.
Add cooled sauce.
Add Cool Whip and sprinkle with nuts on top.
Serves 8 to 10.
