Turtle Cheese Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
    6 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 c. toasted pecans, chopped
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
    whipped cream
Preparation
    In 1 1/2-quart saucepan, melt candy with milk over low heat, stirring frequently, until smooth.
    Combine wafer crumbs and butter; press into 9-inch spring-form pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Pour melted mixture into crust; top with pecans.
