Caramel Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1 large can Pet milk
    1 c. white Karo
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    1 qt. pecans
Preparation
    Cook sugar, milk and Karo over medium heat until soft ball stage.
    Remove.
    Add 1 stick butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla and a pinch of salt.
    Beat until thick and add pecans.
    Drop by spoonfuls on wax paper.
