Green Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked rice
    1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. finely chopped green onions
    salt and pepper to taste
    6 Tbsp. melted butter
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    3 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1/2 c. minced parsley
Preparation
    Mix all the ingredients, except egg whites, until thoroughly combined.
    Fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Grease a 1 1/2-quart baking dish with butter and add mixture.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0 and bake 25 minutes.
    Serves 6.
