Mandarin Orange Bavarian - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. jello (pineapple, grapefruit or orange)
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. boiling water
    2 (11 oz.) cans Mandarin orange sections
    1 tsp. grated orange rind
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin and sugar in boiling water.
    Drain fruits, reserving 3/4 cup of the combined syrups.
    Add the measured syrup and orange rind to gelatin.
    Chill until slightly thickened (approximately 1 to 2 hours).
    Stir whipped topping into gelatin mixture until blended.
    Fold in fruits.
    Pour into mold and chill until firm.
