Tomato Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. ripe tomatoes
    3 c. vinegar
    7 c. sugar
    4 medium onions
    3 or 4 hot peppers
    2 bell peppers
    garlic salt to taste
    ground pepper to taste
Preparation
    Prepare tomatoes for canning, then cut in chunks.
    Chop onions and peppers.
    Mix all ingredients in a large boiler and simmer for 2 to 3 hours or until thick.
    Pour into sterilized jars; seal.
