Sawdust Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1 1/4 c. flaked coconut, toasted
    1 1/4 c. chopped pecans, toasted
    40 Nilla wafers, finely rolled (about 1 1/4 c.)
    1/2 tsp. ground cardamon
    1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
    1 large banana, sliced
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    7 egg whites, unbeaten
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl, mixing well. Stir in egg whites just until blended.
    Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Top each slice with whipped cream and banana slices.
    Serve warm.
