1-2-3-4 Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    4 eggs
    1 c. milk
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until fluffy; add eggs, one at a time. Beat in well.
    Sift flour, salt and baking powder 3 times.
    Add flour and milk in small amounts, starting and ending with flour. Add lemon and vanilla extracts.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven about 60 minutes in 10 1/2-inch angel food pan or 35 to 40 minutes in deep 9-inch layer pans.
    Ice as desired.
