Marie'S Gingered Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 carrots
    2 c. water
    dash of salt
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Peel and slice carrots. Place in saucepan with water and salt. Cook on medium heat until almost done. Add sugar, butter and ginger. Simmer until most of the liquid is gone.
    Serve hot.
