Panettone(Easter Or Christmas Fruit Bread) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 envelopes dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
4 1/4 c. warm milk
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. and 2 Tbsp. sugar
2 whole eggs (room temperature)
3 egg yolks
4 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. white raisins
1/2 c. dark raisins, soaked in water
1/4 c. candied orange peel
1/2 c. diced citron
1/4 c. coarsely chopped nuts
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.
Add warm milk, sugar and sifted flour.
Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
Cream butter with sugar; break in whole eggs and beat well.
Add egg yolks and mix well.
Add egg mixture to yeast sponge and rest of flour until dough is not sticky (loose from bowl).
Knead good.
