German Crumb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 c. light brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk or sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation

Sift flour, brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg together.
Combine Crisco and butter.
Rub both mixtures together with hands until it forms crumbs.
Take out 1 cup of this mixture for top of cake.
To the remaining mixture add eggs, buttermilk or sour milk and baking soda dissolved in vinegar.
Bake in greased and floured pie pans or cake pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
