Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sorghum
1 c. water
1 c. shortening
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. ginger
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs
Preparation

Combine first 3 ingredients and heat.
Mix next 7 ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Mix in sorghum mixture; beat 1 minute. Last, beat eggs.
Put in mixture and continue to beat 1 minute. Bake in a greased 8-inch square baking dish at 300\u00b0 approximately 20 minutes.
Wonderful served warm with Cool Whip.
