Rufus'S Vegetable Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. stew beef or hamburger
    4 or 5 medium potatoes
    1 small onion
    1 small can lima beans
    1 small can peas
    1 small can whole kernel corn
    1 large can tomatoes
    2 or 3 carrots
    1 small can V8 vegetable juice
    salt and pepper
    Louisiana hot sauce to taste (optional)
Preparation
    Cook meat in large saucepan until tender and add the vegetables and cook until done.
