Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen hash browns
    1 c. onions, chopped
    1/2 c. carrots, shredded
    1 (14 oz.) can chicken broth
    3 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 can cream of soup
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. milk
    2 c. chopped, cooked chicken (optional)
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients and simmer until potatoes are tender.
    Add remaining ingredients and heat thoroughly.
