Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 to 8 apples, pared and sliced
1 c. flour
1/2 to 1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 unbeaten egg
1/3 c. melted shortening, cooled
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Place the sliced apples in a greased baking dish.
Cover with a mixture of the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and egg.
Pour the melted and cooled shortening over all.
Sprinkle with the cinnamon.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes, or until apples are done.
Good served warm with vanilla ice cream.
