Ingredients

1 1/4 c. grated apples
4 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin
1 c. applesauce
2 c. chopped nuts
2 tsp. vanilla
powdered sugar
Preparation

Combine grated apples with sugar in heavy pan.
Slowly bring to boil.
Soften gelatin in applesauce.
Add to cooked apple mix. Bring to full boil for 15 minutes.
Stir constantly.
Remove from heat.
Add nuts and vanilla.
