Graham Cracker Toffee - cooking recipe
Ingredients

graham crackers
2 sticks margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. butter flavoring
1/2 to 1 c. chocolate chips (optional)
Preparation

Line a large cookie sheet with aluminum foil, dull side up. Spray with Pam.
Break crackers into small sections at the perforations.
Lay crackers close together (within 1/8 to 1/4-inch).
In a medium saucepan, bring the margarine, sugar and flavoring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly for 2 minutes. Pour mixture over crackers.
Sprinkle with pecans.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
Remove immediately and sprinkle with chocolate chips, if desired.
Cool on wire rack.
Break into sections; store in refrigerator.
