Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    2 eggs
    1 c. mashed bananas
    2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening together.
    Beat eggs until light. Add mashed bananas and lemon juice; blend with shortening and sugar.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together; mix quickly into banana mixture.
    Add nuts.
    Bake in greased loaf pan at 375\u00b0 for 90 minutes.
