Strawberry Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 pkg. strawberries
1 box vanilla wafers
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 large container Cool Whip

Preparation

Crumble vanilla wafers along bottom of pan.
Heat margarine, sugar and egg in saucepan until melted.
Pour over vanilla wafers. Put strawberries on top of this, then top with Cool Whip.
(May sprinkle with chopped pecans.)
