Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
1 1/2 sticks oleo
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk or sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
raisins or nuts (optional)

Preparation

Cut first 3 ingredients like pie meal. Take out 1 cup and reserve. Mix in other ingredients. Batter will be lumpy.
Pour into 9 x 12-inch pan. Top with remaining 1 cup. Bake 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
