Black Forest Cake (Schwarz Wald Torte) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. cocoa
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    3 c. whipping cream
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl, stir until well mixed.
    Add shortening, eggs, milk and vanilla.
    Beat 3 minutes at low speed.
