Lavon'S Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. shredded carrots
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1/2 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed chicken broth
    1 1/2 c. grated American cheese or use 6 oz. cheese spread
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine the first 4 ingredients and cook 10 to 15 minutes, covered.
    Do not drain.
    Combine the next 3 ingredients and cook for sauce.
    Add broth and cheese.
    Combine all and heat until really hot, stirring to prevent scorching.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
