Breakfast Sausage And Cheese Biscuits - cooking recipe

1 roll (10) refrigerated \"Big Country\" biscuits
1 lb. roll mild pork sausage
5 American cheese slices
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
When hot, bake biscuits 11 to 13 minutes until golden.
Slice pork sausage into 10 slices, each approximately 1/2-inch thick.
Fry sausage in ungreased frying pan on medium heat until brown and cooked completely through.
Slice biscuits in half horizontally.
Place a sausage patty on each biscuit and top with 1/2 slice cheese.
Replace top of biscuit. Microwave on High for 30 seconds to melt cheese.
Serve hot with jelly, if desired.
Biscuits may be frozen before adding cheese and reheated in the microwave by the following method.
