Rich Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. scalded milk
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/2 c. water
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Cool milk to lukewarm by adding 1/2 cup water.
    Add yeast; blend in egg.
    Add 3 cups flour; mix until dough is well blended and soft.
    Let rise until doubled.
    Punch down once.
    Roll into balls; place into greased muffin tins.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
