Pineapple Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. milk
1/3 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 c. milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can crushed pineapple
baked pie shell
whipped topping
Preparation

Heat milk and butter in saucepan.
Combine sugar and cornstarch.
Add 1 cup of milk to this; stir until smooth, then add to hot milk, stirring constantly until thick.
Blend in well beaten eggs to which a little of the hot mixture has been added. Cook about 2 minutes more, stirring constantly.
Cool.
Add vanilla.
