Caramel Apple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) can pineapple tidbits
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
4 to 6 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced
1 c. chopped Spanish peanuts, divided
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
Preparation

Mix the first 5 ingredients; cook until thick.
Let cool. Peel and dice the apples; mix with 1/2 cup
chopped peanuts.
Pour cooled mixture over apple mixture.
Mix in the Cool Whip.
Top with 1/2 cup chopped Spanish peanuts.
Chill until ready to serve.
