Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 oz. red food coloring (2 bottles)
1 tsp. cocoa
1/2 c. Crisco or butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Mix coloring and cocoa and set aside.
Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
Sift flour and salt.
Add alternately with buttermilk.
Mix vinegar and baking soda and add to mixture.
Add vanilla and coloring mixture.
Put in greased pans and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
