    3 tablespoons butter
    2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

    1 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2-1/4 cups (9 ounces) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, divided
    2 tablespoons Italian-flavored breadcrumbs
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Coat an 8-inch square baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

Add the macaroni; mix well then pour into the baking dish.
Top with the remaining 1/4 cup cheese and sprinkle with the bread crumbs.
