Rhubarb-Strawberry Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chopped rhubarb
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 2/3 c. water (decrease to 1 1/3 c. if rhubarb is frozen)
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
Preparation
    Cook rhubarb, sugar and water until tender.
    Remove from heat. Add jello and stir until dissolved.
    Pour into serving dish and chill.
    Top with Cool Whip, if desired.
