Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. mashed banana
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar, shortening and eggs until light.
    Spoon flour into dry measuring cup.
    Add soda and salt to flour.
    Stir to blend.
    Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with banana and lemon juice.
    Stir until all ingredients are moistened. Stir in nuts.
    Spread in well-greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
    Remove from pan immediately. Cool on rack.
