Creamy Asparagus Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. cooked white rice
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen cut asparagus
    1 c. chicken broth
    3 c. skim milk
    nutmeg and fresh ground pepper
Preparation
    In a heavy 3 or 4-quart saucepan, cook onion and celery in margarine about 5 minutes, stirring several times until softened. Add rice, asparagus and broth.
    Cover and simmer 8 to 10 minutes. Puree in batches in food processor or blender.
    Return to saucepan. Add milk and heat to boiling point.
    Season with nutmeg and pepper. Makes 6 cups.
