Ingredients

1 qt. milk
2 eggs, separated
2/3 c. sugar
2 c. crumbled saltines
1 c. coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

While warming the milk, beat egg yolks and sugar until frothy. Add to hot milk and stir in crackers and coconut.
Cook until thick.
Remove from heat and add stiffly beaten egg whites and vanilla.
Cool.
Serves 8.
