Mom'S Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, separated
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 pt. heavy cream
    4 pt. milk
    1/2 pt. bourbon
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    pinch of nutmeg
Preparation
    In a bowl beat egg yolks with 1/2 cup of sugar until thick. In another bowl, beat egg whites with 1/4 cup of sugar until thick.
    In a third bowl, beat cream until thick.
    Add cream to the yolks.
    Fold in the egg whites.
    Add milk, bourbon, vanilla and a pinch of nutmeg.
    Chill in the freezer before serving.
